Under-17 Girls Taluk-Level Chess Tournament

Students of Vijaya Vittala Vidyashala, Saraswathipuram, Mysuru, participated in the Under-17 Girls Taluk-Level Chess Tournament and performed commendably. Tisha Patel of Class 10 D secured Second Place, Adithi S of Class 9 C secured Third Place, and Ananya R of Class 9 C secured Fifth Place. All three students have been selected for the District-Level Chess Tournament. We congratulate the students on their achievement and wish them success at the district level.

Shuttle Badminton Tournament – Girls 2026

Students of Vijaya Vittala Vidyashala, Saraswathipuram, Mysuru, participated in the Shuttle Badminton Tournament conducted by the Education Department and performed exceptionally well. The HS Girls team secured First Place and has been selected for the District-Level Shuttle Badminton Tournament.

Students of Vijaya Vittala Vidyashala, Saraswathipuram, Mysuru, participated in the Shuttle Badminton Tournament conducted by the Education Department and performed exceptionally well. The HPS Boys team secured First Place, while the HS Boys team secured Second Place. The students have been selected for the District-Level Shuttle Badminton Tournament.

Under-14 Girls category at the Freedom Cup

Students of Vijaya Vittala Vidyashala, Saraswathipuram, Mysuru, secured Third Place in the Under-14 Girls category at the Freedom Cup. The team displayed good coordination, discipline and sporting spirit throughout the competition. The team comprised Jeevika C.K. (7 A), Manvi R (7 A), Laksha K (7 C), Raneetha D (7 C), Ganavi V. Raj (7 C), Jeevika R.A. (7 A), Tanmayee (8), Kruthika (8), Poorvi (6 C), Yashmitha Rani (7 A), and Kushi (7 B).

VVVS Students Excel in District Level Swimming School Games 2026

Students of Vijaya Vittala Vidyashala, Saraswathipuram, Mysuru, participated in the District Level Swimming School Games 2026 and secured an impressive tally of *3 Gold and 2 Bronze medals* in various events. Benaka S. Urs won three Gold medals, while Vigesh Nayak and Advik Arya secured one Bronze medal each. With his outstanding performance, Benaka S. Urs has qualified for the State Level Swimming Competition.

Vijaya Vittala Vidyashala Secures Second Prize in Mysuru Mahanagara Junior Band Competition

The students of Vijaya Vittala Vidyashala, Saraswathipuram, Mysuru, have secured the Second Prize in the Mysuru Mahanagara Junior Band Competition, organised by Krida Bharati, Mysuru Mahanagara, and BSS Vidyodaya. The students showcased excellent musical talent, discipline, coordination and team spirit, earning appreciation from the judges and organisers.

Students of *Vijaya Vittala Vidyashala, have brought laurels to the school by securing top positions in a chess competition organized by *Great Minds Chess Academy*. Advith M D of Class 6* secured 2nd Place, while Chiranth Athreya P of Class 6 * secured *3rd Place*, showcasing their excellent strategic thinking and competitive spirit. In the Class 5 category, Raghavendra Harshil C L of Class 5 emerged as the Champion, securing 1st Place, while Abhinav S of Class 5 secured an impressive 5th Place.

Vijaya Vittala Vidyashala Girls Clinch First Place in Freedom Cup 2026

The Under-17 Girls team of *Vijaya Vittala Vidyashala, Mysuru, secured **1st Place* in the *Freedom Cup 2026 District Level Tournament, held on **8th August 2026* at *Maharaja Junior College, Mysuru. The team showcased excellent coordination, determination, discipline and sporting spirit throughout the tournament and emerged victorious in the Under-17 Girls category. The winning team comprised **Chinmayee R Hebbar (10 C), Rashmitha J (10 B), Likitha S (10 B), Ganika G.R. (10 D), Ganavi T (9 C), Vijetha Shivakumar (9 D), Sonika Y (10 A), Shruti Shrushti (9 A), Raksha (9 A), and Shreya V Raman (9 A)*.
