Silver medal in Men’s singles and doubles
Tamilnadu Badminton Association for disabled in association with Phoenix Shuttlers Thirunagar town club conducted the 5th all India super six Badminton tournament for the physically challenged Men’s singles and doubles in the STL, 3 class between October 3rd and 4th at Madhurai. Shishir.K.Deep, a first PU student of Vijaya Vithala PU College, Mysore won a silver medal in Men’s singles and doubles category respectively under STL-3

Won 1st prize in state level Lawn tennis Tournament organized by Department of PU Education held at Gulbarga. She has been selected for the national level Lawn Tennis tournament to be held at Hyderabad.
Selected for National level lawn Tennis tournament to be held at Pune, Maharastra from 21.04.2010 to 23.04.2010.

9th national Badminton
Participated in 9th national Badminton for the disabled conducted by Malleshwaram association, won a silver medal in singles and a bronze in doubles in the U-16 category. In the 5th All-India Super Six Badminton Tournament for the disabled conducted by Tamilnadu Badminton association in association with Phoenix Shuttlers, Shishir won a silver medal in men’s singles and doubles category during October-2009.

National Himalayan Biking Expedition-2009
The alumni association of our college felicitated K.Shreyas an alumini who took part in National Himalayan Biking Expedition-2009 on 5th October, 2009. He peddled 600kms in 17 days from Pulu to South Kulu covering five high altitude mountain passes including Tanglangla pass, world’s second highest motorable road whose altitude is 17,582 feet.

He was felicitated by the editor of Star of Mysore and Mysore Mithra newspaper Sri.K.B.Ganapathy and Sri. S. Gururaj, Hon.Secrerary at a felicitation ceremony on 27th May, 2009.Participated in chess Tournament and was selected to take part in state level competitions.
